Work in Progress II

Work in Progress II

September 2021: Outside the United Nations headquarters in New York, Swiss-French artist Guillaume Legros, aka “Saype”, has created an ephemeral-fresco “Work in Progress II” featuring two children folding an origami dove. The installation is eco-friendly because it uses biodegradable pigments that are painted directly onto the lawn. The biodegradable art installation is 118,000 sq ft in size and expected to fade completely in two week’s time. See more of Saype’s artwork on his website.

Eagle-eyed origami enthusiasts may also see origami giraffes, penguins, and figures.
