Jellogami or Jello Origami

Jello Origami

Jellogami: This origami bird or crane is made from jello-like sheets (assembled, not folded, into a bird).

First, dissolve gelatin into water to create a concoction. Paint the concoction into thin sheets. As you wait for the gelatin sheets to solidify, fold a paper crane (for fun, and to use as a sample). When the gelatin sheets are ready, cut and trim the sheets into wing, body, head, and tail shapes. Assemble the components to look like an origami bird. Spice it up by adding flavors and food coloring – they are great as cupcake toppers! Instructional video seen here.
