Toilet Paper Origami Tree

origami toilet paper

This toilet paper origami tree will surely make your guests look twice! Unlike the other TP designs listed on this web site, this design is 3D. In fact, it’s a little over the top, but hey, it might be exactly what you have been looking for.

If you happen to own a “cabin in the woods”, this design would fit perfectly in your cabin getaway. It’s a perfect embellishment to make during the Christmas holidays.

In order to accomplish this model, you must know how to:
  – collapse a crease pattern into a Waterbomb Base (step 5), and
  – perform the Squash Fold (step 7 & 10).

Good luck and have fun with it because that’s what origami is all about!

This TP tree is not particularly difficult to make, however; you might find it challenging simply because toilet paper is soft, pliable and absorbs the moisture from your hands. Although this may seem inconvenient, this is exactly the qualities you want in toilet paper: soft, pliable, and absorbent. Work with it, it’s worth it!

Textual instructions are not provided: at this point in the game, you should be able to understand line diagrams which is is the accepted language of origami. If you are having trouble, review the basic origami terminology found in books and online instructions.
