Golden Venture Folding Candy Cane

Make anywhere between 30 and 50 triangular units (see instructions here)

  1. Place the triangular units side-by-side upright. Place them so that they are balanced on the broad base. They should look like mountains.
  2. Insert the tabs of the second unit into the pockets of the first unit.
  3. Repeat until you have as many as you want in a row.
  4. Gently curve the right side of the row upwards to form the curved hook of a candy cane.

Option: fold the tip of the first triangular unit back so that the candy cane does not have a pointed bottom.

Depending on the type of paper you use and the size of the units, you may or may not need to use glue. If you need to use glue, simply apply a small dot of glue on the tabs before inserting them into the pockets. In this photo, 45 triangular units were assembled with no glue.
