This A6 Dodecahedron was designed by David Brill and first published in Brilliant Origami by David Brill.

It uses 12 sheets of A-sized paper.

Origami A6 Dodecahedron Instructions:

1. Take a sheet of A5 or A6 paper and fold it in half and unfold. Do this for vertical and horizontal so you can identify the center. If you don’t have A5 or A6 paper, you can make an equivalent proportioned paper from a square, or 8.5″x11″
2. Fold the top right and bottom left corners to the center.
3. Repeat with the other two corners: fold the top left and bottom right corners to the center.
4. Fold model in half. Tuck flaps A and B under one another so the unit locks together.
5. Mountain or valley fold the right and left arms towards the center to form a pentagon. This folding sequence does not form a perfect pentagon but try to make the best pentagon that you can. The better the pentagon, the better the pieces will fit together.
6. Make 12 units
7. and assemble by inserting the tabs of one unit into the pockets of the second unit.
8. There are many ways to insert the tabs into the pockets but one efficient way is to orient the units so the bottom (marked with *) of one unit is adjacent to the bottom of a second unit. This methodology makes use of all the pockets and tabs.
